I didn't do any cross training this week, unless you include walking. I'm doing a lot more running during the week because I can't really do much else during my lunch hour. (No car means my lunch options are very limited.) I did feel like I was coming down with something last week, so I tried not to push it too much.
Tuesday - Ran 3 miles.
Wednesday - Ran 3 miles.
Thursday - Sick day. Lots of rest.
Friday - Ran 2.5 miles.
Saturday - Traveled and then walked.
Sunday - Ran 10 miles. I had hoped for 12-14 miles and I settled for 10. We were traveling, we had plans for the afternoon and I got a later-than-normal start. The upside of this run is that it was flat! My miles were under 11 minute miles. I met up with my husband after 7.5 miles, and I slowed down. We walked parts (he has not been running much lately).
My knee is still giving me some troubles, and my ankles haven't been feeling the greatest. I'm just going to take it day by day and get through the marathon. I've definitely been abusing my body with the long running on weekends.
Monday - Travel day. And no exercise.
This next week will be a lot more running during lunch hours, and hopefully some cross training. My long run this Saturday will be around 14 miles. Just a few weeks left before race day!
